“I have always been immersed in music; my mom began lessons with me when I was three years old. Although I am still trying to maintain my own personal growth as a pianist, I have a passion for teaching as well. I love working with both kids and adults; watching their improvement as musicians inspires me and makes me very proud to be their teacher.”

Connie’s first teaching experience began in her high school years in her mother’s piano studio in La Crescenta, California. She prepared students before their lessons, assisted in chamber music coachings, and took over the lessons of the younger students when her mother needed a substitute. Her teaching experience continues in Boston, where she teaches at Page Music Lessons in Boston, Maestro Musicians in Brookline, and in her private studio in Brookline. She has students from the age of four to over 50 years old, and is comfortable with all ages and levels.

Born in La Crescenta, California to musical parents, Connie Kim-Sheng began piano lessons at the early age of three years old. She performed her debut solo recital at the age of 12 and her concerto performance debut at the age of 15. At eleven years old, Kim-Sheng began studying privately with John Perry, continuing under his tutelage with full scholarship at The Glenn Gould School in Toronto, Canada where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She is currently based in Boston after completing a Master’s degree at The New England Conservatory of Music with Meng-Chieh Liu and Hung Kuan Chen.
