Barbara’s students perform at Newbury Court.

For 30 years Carol Kleinschmidt (resident of Newbury Court) had a thriving piano studio in Winchester, MA. When she retired she left a legacy that continues today in the piano studios of the teachers that she mentored throughout the years. Barbara Lieurance is one of those teachers, and her students are beneficiaries of the guidance and support that Carol provided.

The performers are three young pianists with dedication to and passion for the musical process. They will perform a program of masterworks by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Schumann, Haydn, and Ginastera. To see a video of them performing last spring, watch the video below.
